Eversolo DMP-A8 Streamer - In Stock - Free express shipping

After much review I decided to take the plunge on a EverSolo DMP-A8. From all the search on the Web, Summit seemed to have the best price. So I pulled the trigger. Messed up my billing address after ordering and had to send an email out to inform them of billing address correction. Within a half hour or so Aamir contacted me via text and then ended up on a phone call. We had a great conversation about a lot of topics. This was on a Saturday evening mind you. I can't think of any business that does this in today's world. Thank you for ironing out my order and the great conversation Aamir.

The product arrived in two days, remarkable! It was well packaged and like new if not new. Once I figured out how manually install the updates to v1.3.30 the unit started picking up updates automatically.

The sound, I use Roon, Spotify, Amazon Music and these all worked a sound great. Which surprised me because my Spotify account is free so not sure if 120bit mp3 or something like that and the DMP-A8 sounded really good. Has a slightly warmer presentation with high accuracy. Very musical from my perspective.

The built in pre-amp was good as well. I have a stand alone DAC that I do critical listening to and the DMP-A8 Pre is a big improvement from the Emotiva XMC-1 that it replaced.

The appearance of the DMP-A8 is sleek and appears well built. The screen is super vibrant and functions well. Love the many meters that are built in. It just operates extremely well with out any glitches for my use.

To sum it up: SummitHIFI is beyond five star. The device is a five star IMHO.

This is the second audio component I've purchased from Aamir. Bottom line, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, DEEP KNOWLEDGE OF THE AUDIO EQUIPMENT, SELLING HIGH QUALITY AUDIO GEAR, and INTEGRITY! Yes, all capitals because after dealing with Hi-End stores for 45 years I can tell who to trust!

Actually, after I selected and paid for the one B-stock unit, Amir contacted me immediately to say they did not have that unit. They said they would just ship me a new one when they became available (great service and way better than cancelling and starting over!!). The next units from Eversolo were a week or so out, and Amir contacted me directly and kept me updated. The unit arrived as he predicted. I am using it as a pre-amp also, connectivity is great and it is as good as everyone says. I have had the DMP-A6 Master Edition for about a year (now in my 2nd system). If you just need one streamer, I would just go up to the A8, it is more complete for the extra money.
