I bought 2 Tonewinner 4000’s from Aamir at Summit…He always goes above and beyond before and after the sale…
My room is only 12x17 and Aamir warned me these would overpower my room…The beauty of the 4000 is you can run them in sealed mode or ported mode which isn’t an option on the 2000, so if ported mode overpowered the room, I could also run sealed mode…Also, I knew if I bought the 2000’s I would always have FOMO in regards to the 4000’s…
I was previously running dual SVS SB-3000’s so I decided to run these in sealed mode to compare to my sealed SB-3000’s…
Let me cut to the chase…I am getting hard hitting LFE right down to 10hz in my room…I demoed some very familiar LFE sequences and in my opinion these OUTPERFORM my SVS 3000’s! Again, hard hitting far below 20hz!
I’m attaching my measured LFE frequency response in my room…Pictures tell a thousand words and as you can see a jaw dropping frequency response right down to 10hz!
These subs are nothing short of amazing! They have transformed my Home Theatre!

Experience was great dealing with Aamir and the help with my Tonewinner purchases. So far the subwoofers seem good still new but just one issue as I removed the front grill of one of the subwoofers the outter laminate started to peel. So reinstall grill. Not a big problem will just have in the corner anyway. Was great dealing with Summit hifi and will do business again.

I already had a perfectly fine 12" ported sub that I replaced with the D4000. Pretty happy with it so far, it can dig quite a bit deeper than my old sub. I love having the crossover app on my iphone, you can get each track to sit right with the monitors if you like to fiddle but it's not necessary. There's not a ton of info out there on these subs so I was skeptical. I was originally considering SVS and RSL subs that I'm sure are both great also but a few factors came into play (overall cost and shipping) that made me focus in on Tonewinner as a frontrunner.
